But here's where it gets interesting! Last September, FOZZY surprised their fans with a cover version of the iconic OZZY OSBOURNE song, 'Crazy Train'. This release followed the official music video for their latest single, 'Fall In Line', directed by Lawrence Hinson, which dropped two months prior. The video was a creative masterpiece, filmed at HM Studios in Las Vegas, based on a concept by Hinson and Mark Willis.
'Fall In Line' was released in April 2025 via Madison Records and marked a significant milestone in FOZZY's 25th-anniversary tour. The tour, titled '2025th Anniversary Tour', kicked off in Springfield, Missouri, and concluded in Wyandotte, Michigan, leaving fans wanting more. The first U.S. leg of the tour wrapped up in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 21, 2024, with the band promising to return with even more energy.
'Fall In Line' was preceded by FOZZY's standalone single, 'Spotlight', released in October 2023 via Madison Records/The Orchard. This track was produced by the talented Johnny Andrews, known for his work with THREE DAYS GRACE, ALL THAT REMAINS, and HALESTORM. The mixing was handled by Jacob Hanson, who has worked with VOLBEAT, AMARANTHE, and ARCH ENEMY, adding a unique sonic touch to the song.
FOZZY's previous album, 'Boombox', released in May 2022, featured the popular track 'I Still Burn', which has amassed over three million views on YouTube. It also included the Top 10 singles 'Nowhere To Run' and 'Sane', solidifying FOZZY's place in the rock music scene.
In the spring of 2023, FOZZY hit the road with UGLY KID JOE, joining them on their first U.S. tour in 27 years. This collaboration showcased FOZZY's versatility and their ability to connect with diverse audiences.
Now, let's talk about some changes within the band. In January 2022, FOZZY bid farewell to their longtime drummer, Frank Fontsere, and welcomed Grant Brooks (THROUGH FIRE) to the family. Fontsere, a founding member, formed FOZZY with Jericho and Ward in 1999. When the band announced his departure, they mentioned that he was stepping down to focus on his family and other projects.
The current lineup of FOZZY includes Jericho, Ward, Brooks, Billy Grey on guitar, and P.J. Farley on bass.
